Year Two of Prospect Meadow Farm Produce at Northampton’s Tuesday Market

Left to right, Clayton, Kayla, and Maia show off fresh produce and goods during the Northampton Tuesday Market.
Fresh produce tastes best when it’s local.
Clayton, Kayla, and Maia are selling fresh produce at the Prospect Meadow Farm stand at Northampton’s Tuesday Market. They will be at the market every Tuesday afternoon, selling delicious seasonal produce until the market ends in November.
This is Prospect Meadow Farm’s second year at the Tuesday Market! Thanks to ServiceNet’s new Berkshire farm, they now offer starter plants like tomatoes, kale, and other vegetables and flowers. The top sellers so far have been eggs and asparagus.
Maia worked at the stand last year as well. She loves the connection Prospect Meadow Farm has formed with the other booths at the market. The other market stands welcomed Prospect Meadow Farm with open arms.
Kayla has only been with ServiceNet and Prospect Meadow Farm for a few months, but she loves working at the farm and talking to people visiting the stand.
Clayton is a farmhand and helps grow the food they’re selling. He’s been a big help thanks to his excellent math skills, handling all the cash and change, but his favorite part of the stand is talking and interacting with customers at the stand.
