Spooky Specters: Prospect Meadow Farm’s First Haunted House Fundraiser
The bone-chilling season for ghosts, ghouls, and scary frights is finally here! In celebration, Prospect Meadow Farm is hosting its first-ever haunted house fundraiser October 23-25. This community event will not only help bring together the community for some fun evenings but also help fund the farms and their programs.
There will be two public haunted house events during the fundraiser.
The kid’s night haunted house will take place from 4:30- 6:30 on Thursday, Oct. 23, with the haunted barn adapted to be family and sensory-friendly. Guests will also be able to enjoy hot drinks and baked goods from the Rooster Cafe, face painting, and the goat parade at 6 p.m.
The adult’s night haunted house will be open 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, featuring a spookier haunted barn walkthrough for some extra goose bumps. Hot drinks and baked goods from the Rooster Cafe will be available as well.
There will be a silent auction and raffle for both events. Families can also pre-order gift baskets with a 10 percent discount at the farm.
Tickets for the haunted houses can be purchased online. Ticket sales at the door will be limited.
Farm hands and SkillBuilders Makerspace participants will have their own private haunted house event on Friday, Oct. 24. Friends and family are welcome at the event but must purchase a ticket online beforehand.
