ServiceNet Receives $10,000 Davis Foundation Grant for Pathlight Legacy Programs
The Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation has awarded ServiceNet a $10,000 grant to support Pathlight legacy programs, including Whole Children, Milestones, Autism Connections, Family Empowerment, and others. The funding will be used to support the programs in continuing their exceptional work with individuals and families throughout Western Massachusetts.
Before merging with ServiceNet in February, Pathlight had a 70-year history of supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. Its mission focused on fostering opportunities, building community, and helping individuals thrive across their lifetime. That mission continues today through the integration of Pathlight’s legacy programs within ServiceNet.
“The Davis Foundation was a longtime supporter of Pathlight, and we’re incredibly grateful that their support has continued as our organizations have come together,” said Bruno Calouro, President and CEO of ServiceNet. “This grant is not only a reflection of their enduring commitment to the community, it also ensures that the programs so many families rely on can continue to grow and evolve.”
The Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations working throughout Hampden County. Irene Davis believed that those with the means to help have a responsibility to give back to their community. The foundation was established to formalize this generosity, with a goal of continuing her legacy for generations to come.
The Davis Foundation has previously awarded grants to both Pathlight and ServiceNet. Most recently, ServiceNet received a $10,000 grant to support the expansion of its SkillBuilders Makerspace+ program, a community-based day program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that focuses on art and technology. This latest grant further strengthens the connection between ServiceNet and the Pathlight legacy, reinforcing a shared vision of inclusive, community-centered support.
