River Valley Counseling Center Receives $20,000 Donation from Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival

RVCC staff receiving donationRiver Valley Counseling Center (RVCC), a member of ServiceNet, is proud to announce that it has once again received significant support from the Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival, which donated $20,000 to the organization this year. The festival raised a total of $40,000, also awarding $20,000 to Forum House/Viability.

This gift directly supports RVCC’s programs and its mission to provide compassionate, high-quality behavioral health and support services to individuals and families throughout Western Massachusetts.

RVCC has a long-standing partnership with the festival, contributing volunteers each year to help manage essential operations. In recognition of this collaboration, several RVCC leaders attended the check presentation on December 5th—including Bruno Calouro, CEO of ServiceNet and RVCC, and Elaine Campbell, Vice President of Clinical Services. Key RVCC staff that assisted with the festival and also attended the check presentation are Leonard Smith, Gretcher Rivera, and Cindy Williamson.

The Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival has raised and donated more than $426,000 to local nonprofits and student scholarships over its 31-year history.

“RVCC is deeply grateful for the festival’s continued support,” said Campbell. “We are honored to be a longstanding beneficiary of this generosity and shared commitment to community wellbeing.”

The Festival, operated entirely by volunteers, is held annually on the third Saturday of July. RVCC looks forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration in 2026 and beyond.
