Prospect Meadow Farms: The CarnEVIL is Coming to Town!
Prospect Meadow Farms will host its second annual Halloween Fundraiser this year on Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, as the 249 West St Hatfield farm location is transformed into the aptly named CarnEvil.
Friday from 5–7 p.m. is Sensory Friendly Kids Night, when visitors can appreciate the spooky decorations without actors in scary costumes leaping out from dark corners. Games and activities will be available throughout the barn, with costumed hosts on hand to help visitors.
The scare factor gets turned up high for Adult Scare Night, from 7– 9 p.m. on Saturday, when ghosts, ghouls, and other creatures of the night — played by Prospect Meadow Farm participants and staff — will collaborate to ensure chills and jump scares for anyone brave enough to explore the haunted house.
Tickets are on sale for $15 per person for either night.
Farm hands and others from across ServiceNet’s vocational programs have worked together to bring the CarnEvil to the farm, building props and arranging decorations for the haunted house.

For both nights, ServiceNet’s Rooster Café, a vocational culinary training program for people with disabilities, will be selling tasty, baked treats. Rumor has it the CarnEvil ringleader, Mina the goat, will make an appearance as well.
“I love seeing everyone working together and collaborating for the CarnEvil,” said Vice President of Vocational Services Shawn Robinson. “Our folks have been hard at work, making the haunted house even better than last year. It’s fantastic seeing folks giving it their all. They really like this event.”
