Erin Spaulding Joins ServiceNet as Chief Financial Officer

Erin Spaulding joined ServiceNet as Chief Financial Officer in May 2025. Erin came to ServiceNet from River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC), where she had served as Director of Finance for the past five years. In her new role, she is helping us to quickly bridge our two agencies’ fiscal operations now that ServiceNet is the umbrella organization for RVCC.

A lifelong resident of western Mass, Erin was born in Holyoke, grew up in South Hadley, and now lives in Whately with her family. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Elms College in Chicopee and her master’s in business administration from Fitchburg State University.

Though Erin worked with for-profit companies earlier in her career, she found her true “fit” when she made the switch to non-profit organizations—from Community Action to The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, and most recently River Valley Counseling Center.

“For me, it’s important to be part of a team where people have a great sense of passion for and purpose in what they’re doing,” Erin explained. “I like the energy, strong personalities, and controlled chaos that happens in an organization like ServiceNet,” she added. “And my job is to weigh what we need and want to do with how we’re going to pay for it so that our business side supports our mission and it all balances out. I love being part of making that happen!”
