ServiceNet hosted its annual Developmental and Brain Injury Services (DBIS) picnic July 23 at Look Park. Under clear, sunny skies, senior leaders grilled hamburgers while attendees played soccer, cards, and corn hole, and program participant DJ Pinkie spun tunes that kept the dance floor hopping.
“I was glad to see so many of our extraordinary staff members and residents at the picnic this year. It’s a highlight for so many of us,” said Michael Lalak, vice president of DBIS residential services. “There’s nothing quite like watching staff and residents come together to create a memorable day while celebrating the community we’ve built together.”
ServiceNet’s Developmental and Brain Injury Services provide residential, day, and community-based support for people with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries throughout western Massachusetts.
