ServiceNet Outpatient Clinics Named Best in the Valley for Second Year as Network Grows
For the second year in a row, The Valley Advocate has named ServiceNet’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinics the best in the Pioneer Valley in its “Best of the Valley 2026” readers’ poll.
The annual poll reflects the voices of Valley residents, highlighting the organizations and services that make a meaningful difference in their communities.
The honor comes just months after a significant milestone for ServiceNet. In July 2025, River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) became a member organization of ServiceNet, and in February 2026, all ServiceNet outpatient clinics joined RVCC, making it one of the largest providers of community mental health services in western Massachusetts. This growth strengthens coordination across programs and expands access to care at a time when the need has never been greater.
“This award reflects the extraordinary work of our outpatient teams and the deep trust our community places in them,” said Bruno Calouro, President and CEO of ServiceNet and RVCC. “Integrating our outpatient clinics with RVCC has only strengthened that foundation, allowing us to connect more people to high-quality care while supporting our staff with greater collaboration and shared expertise.”
Across locations in Greenfield, Northampton, Amherst, Pittsfield, Springfield, Chicopee, Holyoke, Westfield, and Easthampton, the clinics offer a wide range of services for individuals and families, including individual and group therapy, couples and family counseling, medication management, substance use recovery treatment, and specialized treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and care for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Bilingual services and community-based care remain central to the clinics’ approach, and RVCC also serves children and families with robust school-based outpatient services and its Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) team.
For individuals with treatment-resistant depression, advanced therapies such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatment are available in Northampton.
The alignment between ServiceNet and RVCC reflects a shared commitment to meeting growing mental health needs across the region — expanding capacity and creating new opportunities for collaboration among staff.
“This recognition speaks to the collective effort of so many people, clinicians, support staff, and community partners, who make this work possible,” said Dr. Elaine Campbell, ServiceNet’s Senior Vice President of Clinical Services. “Together, we’re building a more connected system of care that can respond to people’s needs more effectively and compassionately.”
As demand for mental health services continues to grow, ServiceNet and RVCC remain focused on increasing access to high-quality care and supporting individuals and families throughout the Pioneer Valley.
