Annual Developmental & Brain Injury Services Picnic celebrates growth

ServiceNet’s Developmental & Brain Injury Services (DBIS) division held its annual picnic at Look Park in Northampton on July 23.
Over 500 staff and individuals from ServiceNet’s 150+ group homes and shared living placements, Enrichment Center, work crews, and outreach services, celebrated with delicious food, dancing, and tunes provided by DJ Pinkie.
In February 2025, Pathlight, a nonprofit organization offering support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, merged with ServiceNet. With the addition of so many fantastic programs, staff, and participants, this marked the largest DBIS picnic to date.
The mood was at an all-time high thanks to good weather and games, bringing together staff from the many different programs this year!
“Each year this picnic is an opportunity for the ServiceNet family to connect and celebrate our successes,” said Elaine Sibley, director of quality and licensing for DBIS and human rights coordinator “ServiceNet has grown immensely this year, not only in numbers, but also in connections. The picnic also reminds us of our commitment to provide support and meaningful experiences by including everyone for a wonderful day.”
ServiceNet’s DBIS division provides residential, rehabilitative, and social support for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and brain injuries, supporting them in living their lives as independently as possible.
