Western Massachusetts is well known for its educational institutions. Living and working here, we are surrounded by professors and students who are conducting original research. And ServiceNet is a lively part of this academic network.
Applied Research
Our Applied Research department – the only one of its kind in this area – studies the results of various therapies used in our behavioral health centers and other programs, tracks their impact over time, and provides us with the information needed to shape new approaches to care. The department publishes an e-newsletter which highlights some of our latest projects.
Community Partners
We also partner with the colleges and universities in our area to conduct further research, create unique internship opportunities for students, and contribute to the field of clinical knowledge and best practices.
In addition, several members of our professional staff have their work published in major journals, and present at area conferences.
